Next Actor Studios screened two shorts films for an audience Saturday night, December 27th, at their studios in the Rice Village. Filmmaker and director Anna Campbell was in attendance and screened her short film,  "My Dragon" which she shot in Shanghai, China. This film follows Ms. Campbell's quest to find a Golden Dragon to take with her on her return trip from China to the states. Of particular interest, is that Ms. Campbell is considered legally blind and uses a walking stick to guide her way but she is still and is determine to make films.  (You can see some of her work on the Next Actor website). Filmmaker and Director San Bararje was also in attendance and screened a rough-cut of his film "The Train". This music-only film follows young love and a journey back to one man's lost love. "The Train" featured the beautiful Ms. Iheny Nieto, Sean Zamir and Dave Amyx. This is one of 12 short story segments of the feature film, "Suicide Love", which will be in the can sometime in 2009 and directed by several directors.

After the screening the directors were available for a question and answer session to the delight of the audience. C-47 Houston was there and took some pictures. Enjoy!
