The Deadbeat Club and Mr. Steven Katz are pleased to announce the premiere screening of their newest 45-minute collection of filmed sketches, "Deadbeat TV vol.1". This fun filled video parody's TV shows and commercial that are framed in a unique, simulated channel-surfing format. The premiere starts at 8PM, Thursday night, February 26, 2009 at the River Oaks Theater (2009 W. Gray 77019).

Every member of The Deadbeat Club is a talented writer and a creative mind, and each brings a different skill to the table. Most of the group are stand-up comics, some are actors with theatre or improv backgrounds, others have film production experience, and a few have formal music training. 

Sketches range from comically suggestive to the flat-out dark.

The Deadbeat Club cast members include:  Steven Katz, Theodore M.E. Taylor, Mark Hurtado, Frank Garcia, Keith Manning and John Gard. 

Also included are a bunch of actors including: Laura Schlecht,  Nia DeBose, Alyson Toups, Shawn Cook, Hannah Pedrami, Jennifer Olsen, Shoshana Fisher, Jack Cuellar, Rowan Gearon, Marc Isaacs, Chris Lapp,  Aidan Kate, Reverend Bart, Alex Kuzhuvelil, Al Bahmani,  Emery Cookston, Dwight "Wight Boi" Morris, Jr., Rob Mungle, Paul Castro, Ben Cuellar, Mel Sedat, Jose Cordova, Jason Jerome, Kyler Mason, Tara Stevens, Edwin Matthew Czerniakowski and Benjamin D. Ploughman.

The DVD, T-shirts and Stickers will be on sale at the screening.

Tickets are $5.00. Get there early as there will be a line.
